I was wondering do you make your own doll clothes? I mean it really helps if you're on a budget. If you don't and you want to is there something stopping you? Making clothes is definitely fun for me. In the beginning I wasn't all that good but through trial and error I think I've made it to a point where I am happy with what I create. At first I started with patterns that I found online and eventually just made my own. I also acquired some tips and tricks that have help greatly.

If you are a doll clothes maker what is your favorite part? Personally I love picking fabrics. Seems I really like green/pink/red/white I obviously need more blues!!!!
I would love to make my own Blythe clothes! I have a sewing machine but have never used it, lol. Can't wait to see your tips!

ReplyDeleteI like the design process the most. It is the most challenging. Secondly choosing the right prints for the design.
ReplyDeleteI started with patterns for 18" dolls, then I got a pullip and I make all my patterns myself. I love adding the buttons and bows. :)
