Has had her first plastic surgery, bahahaha literally. Remember The new girl post . Well she looks like this now. Can you tell the difference? Stock Blythe dolls have shiney faces and come with makeup painted on them. I also made my first attempt at carving. If I said it was super easy I would be lying but maybe that is because I just kind of went nuts without planning what exactly I was going to carve. In the end I spent an extra day "fixing" what I messed up and learned quite a bit. I really like how her face came out and now I can't wait to swap out her hair. And if anyone has any suggestions for names I'm all ears.
For anyone who is wondering what I did:
Face was sanded
Lips were carved
Nostrils were carved
Nose was sanded down to remove the point and make it more button like
That weird space betweent he nose and lips was carved, it has a name starts with a P
Added a little bit of color on the lips but it didn't "stick" so I will end up painting it a natural color with some shading and highlights.
To be done:
Hair will be re-rooted
Eyelashes changed
Eye chips changed
Make up added
Pin It

Thanks for stopping by, I'm sure you will love re-rooting. I find it very relaxing (though the mohair gets up my nose sometimes lol!).
ReplyDeleteLMNN looks great, love her little button nose.
